Can't access my account

I'm based in India but have been staying in the UK for the past ten days and had normal access to my Yahoo mail app on my phone. Last night however, the app signed out of my email account by itself and is now asking me to sign in again. To my dismay, I have forgotten my password and the number linked to this account is Indian, hence I won't get any texts about sign in codes whilst I am in the UK. To make things worse the emergency email account is also from Yahoo. I am in desperate need of advice.

Unfortunately, if, when you created the account, you have not registered an alternate recovery email address to which you have access to receive a reset code, you cannot prove that you are the account's legitimate owner. Hence account recovery is absolutely impossible and there is no way around it.
