Toshiba laptop L655 after just a few seconds, it shuts down

When I start my laptop, you can hear the hard drive start, then after just a few seconds, it shuts down. I have taken my battery out, unhooked a/c cord, and held the start button down for 60 seconds, and have also taken both ram cards out and re-installed them, still shuts down, screen never lights up at all. With my a/c cord plugged in, I have a light blue light on the left side of laptop, when I push start, another light blue light comes on about two spaces over, then seconds later shuts down. Any help and I would be thankful.
