Dell Studio laptop goes black

Hi, I need help~
My Dell Studio laptop goes black after turn on. I have tried the method by keep hitting F8 bt still remain the same as I've tried to choose "Safe mode".

The screen is not totally goes black bt it's like the screen lighting is super low. Tried to adjust the lighting bt still the same.

Hw can I solve this problem?

Try to shine a flash-light at an angle to the screen. If it shows an image then the "back light" has failed and needs to be replaced. A good Laptop Repair shop should be able to do it.
