Not opening and formatting Closed

Hello, I tried to make my  pendrive bootable but when i format it . It does not open and say that my pendrive need format but when I format it. It does not format and didn't open also what to do now can u pls solve this problem

When you say "bootable", what OS are placing on it?   Are you changing your BIOS to boot from USB?

Do you really mean "default behavior?"  Meaning, you wish to have the folder explorer open when ever you place the DRIVE into the USB slot?  These are two different things!
