Built in mic is not working

Hello,

My mic was working perfectly but then for three days he stoped working when i do tests i only hear internal voices like if im playing a music or so but i cant hear my voice , i used to talk with people on fortnite but right now i can't so please help me if you can

Ok, so what changed?

Did you do an update?

Did your teacup piglet trample on your keyboard?

What sound card are you using?

Is the Mic plugged in? Is it wireless? Do you need to change batteries?

We need more details concerning the machine.

I did no update i just change the settings in recording devices after i restored them to the default and still not working
the mic is integral laptop mic

What does "restore to the defualt" mean? Restored what? the OS?
