Keyboard not responding

I have installed a new motherboard, but the keyboard does not respond. F1 will not respond to continue the setup to go to the boot menu to boot from the cd so I can format the HD and load Windows

Please help

Some motherboards only allow use of a PS2 keyboard and a USB keyboard will no access the BIOS.

A tirade a ps2 and a usb keyboard but nothing want to work
