Laptop not starting

Hello,
I kept my leptop in sleep mode and then unpluged the power. Now when i plugh in it shows only black screen with fan running. It does not get swith off even after pressing the power button. My battery doesnot give power backup so i use my laptop with power plugh connected always. Please suggest a solution.

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.
