Can someone please tell me why this even happened?
I thought that the Scan and Fix should fix your problem, not cause it.
So what happened is that, I plugged in my USB, then there was a pop-up about there being a problem.
Since, I always got this and was getting tired of it, I clicked Scan and Fix.
Then afterwards I couldn't even access the contents of my USB.
Every time I try, it always gives me a pop-up to format it.
Now my USB needs to be formatted and my important files are going to be deleted. (I haven't formatted the USB yet.)
I tried different methods on trying to copy the files over before formatting it and it failed.
Now, can anyone give me instructions on how to recover files that are going to be formatted.
Answer Techs at Microsoft told me to get consultancy from local tech support. Every technician I talked to don't know or just says that the files are non-recoverable.
