Dell latitude d610 not powering on

Hello,
My dell latitude d610 not powering on. When I press the on push button, lights came on for 4-5 seconds and then everything goes off. I tried with only battery power, then removed battery and tried with external power, pressed on switch for half minute, while both powers are removed, removed and installed cmos battery, removed and installed ram after cleaning....but the problem stands still.
Can anyone help me.

You probably have a motherboard problem. Given it's around 6 or 7 years old it's not worth fixing.

Thanks for your kind suggestion, but I would like to add something more that before going in this state my laptop starts held up 5-6 times and after that its not getting ON.
