WD my passport ultra 1tb shows capacity as 0 mb Closed

hi
my external hard disk stopped working after few months
it is not detected for some time and when i changed the cable it is being detected in the device manager and in disk management it shows it is not initialized and it asks to choose MBR or GPT where as in my computer it shows as cd drive(E:) 
i also ran some test on it wd data life guard diagnostics 
where it shows capacity as 0 mb and all test results as pass ( both quick test and extended test) 
i am using windows 10 OS .

please assist me to recover the data

Hi,

Once you initialize the drive then data stored on that drive get formatted. To get data back from that initialized hard drive you need to use a data recovery software. Also, keep in mind that you won't be able to recover files if your drive has been overwritten.
