No Icons,Start Menu only Wallpaper Closed

Aloha,


I'm having a big problem with my screen as well.  I was waiting for a game to load then it freezed up so i used the Ctrl+Alt+Dlt and shutdown from there.  When i rebooted i get just my wallpaper and no Icons or my Start Menu.  I have to access everything through the Task Manager.  I also see that i do not have explore on my computer anywhere. I have to go to google Can someone please HELP!

Do you have to have internet access? Because I do not, if not what other options are there?

There is a microsoft hot fix for this.

Click on the download hot fix link at the top of the article. It will email it to you. Copy the password at the bottom of the email.

Click on the link in the email, choose to run the program and paste the password in the box when it pops up.

Then download into your windows folder.
