Laptop is in hibernation

Hello,
I have a gateway ne71b laptop. Forgot to turn it off so it's been in sleep mode for bout 2 weeks. Now it won't start back up. Tells me something is missing. Used the alt f10 but won't reset

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start as normal
