Can't connect to the internet with lan cable why?

hey guys am seriously in deep trouble, 3 weeks ago i was browsing with my system using the LAN but yesterday i plug the cable the lights showed, my browser popped up but i still could not browse, i unplugged the cable and re-plugged but still no internet access, i switched off the router server and switched it on again and tried the above process and still no internet access.

I am using realtek Ethernet control center, i uninstalled , downloaded a newer version and installed it but it won't still get internet access.

why?
