I think is already late for my answer, but still)) Maybe that will help you or someone else in the future.
You can use Disk Management to open your external hdd. Disk Management -> select external hdd -> open. or Disk Management -> select external hdd -> mark partition active. you can read detailed about that method here https://www.diskinternals.com/partition-recovery/revive-your-laptop-hard-drive-with-recovery-tips/

It is SP hard drive bought it in feb

Usually damaged HD's cannot be repaired.
You HD may be still under warranty, I trust that you registered your product.
