So here it the problem with software such as this: Where did you get it?
When I look for support for that software, all sorts of blogspot and mixed blogs website come up, which tells me that this software has been distributed all over the place.
So then when you get to newsoftwares.net, it looks like they might be the owner of folderlock, but THERE IS NO SUPPORT. Only this little link that says "forgotten password". I understand that you "know" the password, but theree doesn't seem to be any support for this software. That is rule number one when choosing software: "How much support am I going to get if I purchase this software?" Now, you have encrypted your files with it, and the password doesn't work. HUH. That is odd, isn't it? I see one of their fixes is a $100(US) software. Go ahead and get that one too!
Oh, you can try this link:
https://www.newsoftwares.net/folderlock/forgotten-password/
If it doesn't help, that is the last stop on the bus line, and there is no more help for software such as this. What is so important that you must encrypt your data behind this stuff? Why doesn't native encryption work for you? Next time, try this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-on-device-encryption-0c453637-bc88-5f74-5105-741561aae838
