OS NOT FOUND on boot.
i have a corrupted drive, which originally ran XP. i later installed vista,from another laptop(dell), which i sold with the disk. The product key for XP is still stuck too the back of this laptop. anybody know how too clean install back too the original OS/XP with the Product key, but no cd disk.
Your hard drive could very well be past it's due date. Otherwise you can try downloading an OS to a usb and format the usb into a bootable drive, make sure your bios settings are set to boot from usb and install operating system.
