Hi my laptop fell, screen froze up so I restart it. Get a msg saying can't find OS. So I get a disc has win10 on it, begin the format process and get a msg saying a new version of Windows is found in this device. Select reboot device source or something like that.
I tried restore system, repair option and it's a no go.
Btw it's a gateway model MS2288.

Hello, it sounds like the hard drive has been damaged after the drop. Try booting from an external drive.
