Hi,
I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7579 that I bought last November from BestBuy. It first shut down automatically a month ago, with the screen turning blank followed by the back-lit keyboard. At that moment I was looking up new articles with Word and Spotify running in the bg, so the use was fairly light. I use it for school (homework, video meetings), photo editing, digital art and some video streaming, so usually only 6-7 of 12 GB of RAM is used.
Is there a check I should do before heading to BestBuy? Any tip is appreciated.

Hello Sora,
Looks like a power supply problem. I would not even try to find a solution on the net.
Your laptop is still on warranty but not for long. Unless you purchased an extended warranty, Best Buy will not take it back or exchange it.
I suggest you hurry and contact Dell warranty support at:
1 (800) 847-4096
Here is the web address:
https://www.dell.com/support/incidents-online/ca/en/cabsdt1/contactus/dynamic
Do not delay and good luck

P.S. Let us know how successful you were with Dell.
