Won’t start up

Hello,
I have Acer laptop with Windows 10 as the OS. Earlier today I tried turning on my laptop. It does open until the “Acer” was on the screen but long after that it stays black although I can still move the arrow.
P/s: please do ask anything if you’re having trouble understanding my grammar/vocabulary.
