PlayStation 3 is not allowing me to use the amazon app

Hello,

I tried to use the amazon app on my Playstation 3 and it told me I had to sign into my PSN account first. But when I tried signing in, it refuse to sign me in. It keeps telling me to quit any programs that are still running. Even after I reseted my password (because I forgot what it was) it still told me the same crap. Is there a way to know if a program is still running in the background?
