Moving messages from Windows Live Mail

Old PC has Windows Live mail, but it is not available for the new machine I bought (Windows 10, HP Pavillion). I need to get mail items that were stored in folders into the new mail program. I have a gmail account that I connected to the mail program on the new machine.

I've been able to export them out of Windows Live Mail but there is no import function that I can see. Any suggestions?

The exported emails are for archival use only, in the case you needed to reference an older email. Just continue to use the new mail, and move forward!!!! there is no import. Doesnt make sense to import mail messages and mixing services!
