How can I force my desktop shortcut to my downloads folder to open in ACDSEE and not in explorer?

Is there a default folder location set up in ACDSEE? If so, then have the shortcut load acdsee, and open new file from the default folder location of downloads.

You cannot make an image editor you default file explorer, sorry.
