My Lenovo B590 laptop went blank today. I switched it on and nothing displayed. It remained white-blank. I wondering if something hit on back of the screen where I kept it. Or if it's flex problem. It had been working perfectly before today. No issues.

What could be the problem?

You should then have your screen inverter checked by a technician.
