Hacked Account

My account was hacked several months ago and I’ve been trying to get it back ever since. I created my account years ago and I can’t find/remember the email I created my account with. The only solution I have come across is to find someone who works for Instagram to help me. Does anyone know anyone who works for Instagram or has another solution?

Hi,

If you're unable to recover your hacked account, you can report it to Instagram. On this help page, you will find how to report an account and all other available recovery methods.

I’ve done that. You have to know the email you created the account with and because I don’t know the help and report is useless

To report the account if you don't know the email, you can instead, enter your phone number or Instagram username, when you tap "Get help signing in".

I’ve already tried that. My number isn’t hooked up to that account and if I plug in a username it just sends an email to whatever the hacker changed it to

That’s the problem, they don’t have a support team. You can’t contact them. They have a number which you listen to the spill for probably 10 mins of them directing you to something else. They tell you that more than likely no one is going to reply to you. You can leave a message which cuts you off a couple mins in which I had happen to me several times. And if you email them, all you get is a bot named Jeremy. Which is why I’m trying to find someone who works there because I know someone else was able to get theirs back because they knew someone who worked there.

That's all I can suggest. I don't know any other way to contact them.
