Hello,

I bought my asus rog strix scar 2 yesterday when I tried to power it on without the power cable nothing happened.
Then I plugged in the power cable and it worked. Once powered up I then removed the power cable and the laptop turned off.

Hello, this could be a battery issue considering that as soon as you removed the power cable, the laptop turned off.

Edit: Or as stated below, your battery may not have been charged if it is new, charge it up and then see if it stays on.

But it is built in battery.
My laptop only 2days old.
I cant open it.
