Audio devices not installed

Hello, my speakers were working with windows 2000 but after installing windows xp i can not play any audio files. the vidoes are showing okay but no sound. whenever i try playing an audio file i get an error message that my audio devices are not installed, may be they are being used by another file or they are not functioning. please assist me.

Hye this is quite normal! you will have to install your XP sound driver! You can download it on the net! You just have to search using your motherboard model number!!
