Hello, I've got two possible solutions for you:

Let me know how you get on!
1.
- Remove battery, remove plug and hit the power button for 30 seconds.
- Then put back the battery and start your computer
- Once you see something on the screen, plug in the cord.
2. Alternative power drain procedure
- Remove the RAM sticks (Clean with a soft lint free cloth while they are out)
- Remove the power cord and battery
- Hold the power button for 30 seconds
- Replace everything.
