Hello,
I'm changing to wireless.
- can I connect the router to any phone socket or does it have to be at the main phone socket to the house?
- if it has to be the main socket, can I use the RJ11 cable that I already use from the main socket to the modem ie swap from the modem to the router?

You will have to connect it using the main socket at home! Don't 4get to place the splitter for your phone! the phone line must be connected to the router!

Thanks.
I use the splitter with the RJ11. Are you saying I can't use the RJ11 with the router and I'll need to have the router placed where the main phone socket is?

RJ11 works brilliantly. No need to have router plugged directly into the main phone socket.
