Hi,
To check your Facebook friends list, click Friends Lists in the left menu from your News Feed. If you don't see the option, click the down arrow in order to see it.
To see which friends are active, go to Contacts and next to their names, you'll see a green badge for those who are active. Please note that their Active status must be enabled, otherwise, you'll not be able to see if they're active or not.
