My sound is low

Hello,
The sound coming from my computer is low and my speakers are brand new, barely a week old, the volume options are max yet the sound coming from my speaker is low. I have vista.

hi there,

on the taskbar next to the time

you will see a speaker icon

double click on it and raise the volume

im having the same problem... everything is connected, all the volumes are workind - i would've tried backup computer however youll lose all your work...im calling the it technician...i'll tell u the steps when he comes :)
