Hi,
The Messages app can't be deleted from the iPhone. Look at the folders that you created to try to find the app or use the Spotlight search to locate it.
If you're unable to find the app, try resetting the home screen layout to its default settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
