Hello, while on a trip, I took my lap-top with me and used the hotel internet connection. My better half
latter used my computer and had problems getting on the internet in the hotel. For some unkown reason
a screen came up and wanted him to reconfingure the internet connection, which he did. When we got home I
could not get on the internet. I got with my internet provider and can now get on the internet through their
icon. I can not get on the internet using Internet explorer. I get an error 12031 that my server has been reset.
I have a successful connection on HTTP: to Microsoft.com, an unsuccessful connection on HTTPS: to
Microsoft.com, FTP: passive connection, and a successful connection on HTTPS: to Passport.net.
I need to be able to get to the internet using Internet Explorer. Please help.
