Right. It used to be that when you clicked on a post it would display a larger version of the post along with the likes and comments. And there would be scroll arrows to go to the next/previous post. If you right click on a post and "open link in new tab (or window) you get the larger image but without the ability to scroll to the next/previous.
Oh yeah, it's the same behaviour in the Windows 10 Instagram app that I got from the Windows Store.
