Deleted WhatsApp chat by mistake!!

Hello,

I am using WhatsApp on my iPhone 11 and I have just deleted a whole chat by mistake!!! It has sentimental value to me and I am gutted. There are lots of links shared to songs and photos etc!! ????

 I have iCloud backup on last updated on 9th Sept. Can anybody help me and let me know if there is a way of undeleting/retrieving the whole chat history??!! Please help?

Hi,

To be able to restore the iCloud backup, you'll have to delete WhatsApp, then reinstall it. WhatsApp will prompt you to restore your backup once it is reinstalled. This way, your deleted chat will be back (if it was deleted after the backup) and keep in mind that all discussions after the Sep 9 will be lost.
