Get a code by email

Hi,

When starting the recovery process of your account, Facebook will need to send you a code to your email or phone number in order to confirm the legitimacy of the recovery request.

Select the contact option to which you've access to get the code. Once you've confirmed the code, you can reset your password and recover your account.

Sometimes, you may not receive the code due to some issues and in this case, follow the methods in this article to to find out why you don't receive the code. If you no longer have access to your contact options, try these recovery steps (trusted contacts or confirming your identity).
