Stop WhatsApp from saving photos to gallery

Hello,

I have turned of media visibity in WhatsApp but pictures are still downloading into Gallery.  Can I do something else to stop this?​​​​​​​

Hi,

If the images from WhatsApp still appear in the gallery despite disabling "Media visibility", open your phone's file manager and go to WhatsApp > Media > WhatsApp Images.

Next, create a new file named .nomedia and save it. If you can't create a new file, or just don't have a file manager on your phone, download FX File Explorer.
