Hi,
Does your browser save your passwords? If yes, it may enter an obsolete password - try entering it manually. Passwords are case sensitive, check that the Caps Lock and Num Lock keys are enabled and disabled at the right time.
If your password is still not recognized, try resetting it from your computer. You can refer to this article for the steps to recover a Yahoo Mail account.
Good luck

Thunderbird still works because I think it uses an app password instead of your main password, otherwise you should not have an issue when logging in on the Yahoo website. Try resetting your password from your computer and see how it goes.

Thats the problem, I can't reset my password because I don't know my account password anymore. If I could log into yahoo mail it wouldn't be a problem

You don't need to know your password to be able to reset it. Visit the Sign-in Helper and enter the email address of your Yahoo account.
Next, click Continue and select the recovery email or phone number to which you've access. A reset code will be sent to the contact option you've chosen.
With that code, Yahoo will let you to create a new password.
Good luck
