Harddisk not detectected

Hello,
My laptop cam with a vister iam trying to replace it with xp
the blue creen reads no Harddisk in snstalled.When i boot it without the startup cd it goes directle to vister wich means the Harddisk is ok
what do i do guys?

hi,

you need the SATA drivers.

try this link to get more information about what your need to know and do when downgrading your computer from Vista to XP.
