IPhone can't connect to internet

Hello,
I'm not getting cell service in my current location but my iPhone is connected to a wireless network by WI-FI, and there's definitely a check mark next to the network (which my lap top is also connected too). But, when I try to open my browser or check mail the iphone gives me an error message that it isn't connected to the internet. Any thoughts?

Hello,

Just re configure the connection to the wireless network,

If the wifi network is secured you will need the wep key set to your iphone wifi setup!

I had to go into settings turn of wifi, tried it and it worked. Went back into settings turned wifi back on and it worked while connected to my network. Really weird I don't know why it did this.
