Try to use third-party tools to diagnose your memory.

especially with that old pc100/pc133 memory, make sure the memory is 100% compatable with your computer. an older cpu built for pc100 may or may not be able to use pc133. it is hit and miss. it may see it, may see only half, or not boot at all.
match the sticks as much as possible, all 16 chips, or 8 chips, or whatever. a stick with 8 chips on one side only may not play well with one having 8 one side/8 the other side.
