Hello,
I have installed Internet Explorer 8 onto my system (XP-SP3) and now I cannot get anything to print from the Internet. This is VERY frustrating as I collect a lot of info from the 'Net. I have tried uninstallingt IE8, but this has not fixed the problem, IE7 worked for a while and then stopped working, so I re-installed IE8 so that at least I can access the Internet. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

You can do one thing go to tools -> internet options -> security tab -> uncheck : Enable protected mode
and then reopen a new internet explorer and try to print now
Alternatively try to reregister thecomplete set of the internet files
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2970908/how-to-use-microsoft-easy-fix-solutions
Separately you can register the dll files
by goint go command prompt and then
use the following commands:
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 ole32.dll
regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
and then reopen a new internet explorer and try to print now
