Are you trying to save pictures that reside in your digital camera?
If so, you need to connect it to your computer with a USB cable. One probably came with your camera. Windows will prompt you and allow you to save your pics to a folder.
Alternately you can use a program like Nikon's Picture Project which does basically the same thing.
