Hello,
hello there i have an acer 5100 and it was running fine this morning and the it just shut off i thought the battery was dead so i plug it in and nothing and its been plugged in for a few hours now and it wont turn on but on the front of the laptop the battery light is on

hi there,

please try to check if the fuse in your charger plug is good or replace if defective,

then retry to plug it and insert your battery correctly.
