Sound drivers for compaq CQ50-113 Closed

Hello,
I have a problem with finding sound drivers for compaq presario CQ50-113.I have searched eveywhere i know.I have aready installed UAA but when i run any audio drivers download it gives me a msg that the download failed.Somebody plz help

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the sound drivers? you can get these from C-Media's website.

i had a similar issue with my sound on compaq and NOTHING worked.. someone recommended www.fixedlikemagic.com though and they fixed it within 45 minutes.. much cheaper than getting someone to come out or taking it to a computer shop

Can't uninstall bcoz its a new machine that didn't have drivers.Am actually trying to install the drivers now.
