installing new motherboard Solved/Closed

Hello,
I am upgrading my mobo and processor to a i7-920 and 1366 board on an existing computer i have. What i don't know is if i install my existing hard drive that has my OS on it already, will my new MOBO recognize it, or if im going to have to reinstall my OS again. Thanks for the help.

Dear Sir,

It's better you reinstall the OS when using the new motherboard, 

The system can become unstable if you just use the same OS,

Please make a backup of all your data to another partition or use an external HDD to copy your files

Then Format and Install a fresh OS
