Hello,
I have an acer laptop i have some integrated speakers i can hear sound going from them , but when i plug a headset xp tells me that plug is in but i can't hear any sound coming in the headphone
What is the real problem ? Is my output port damage ?how can i check that ?

Perhaps you are having a problem with your mother sound output.
Please try to re-install your sound card.
Otherwise have a full maintenance of your laptop.
