Not start nor icons

Hello,
I have tried to use my laptop but I can not get anything but an empty wall paper, no icons nor start menu. I went to task manager, then to new task then typed explorer.exe and I got a message that said, " This application has failed to start because SHDOCVW.dll was not found. Reinstalling this application may fix the problem.

as you mentioned you already use the task manager it didn't work

i suggest you to boot from windows cd and make a repair
