My labtop mouse is not working

Hello,
after i pluged the projector screen to my toshiba lab top, the mouse doesn't work at all, i tried to enable it from the enable button on the mouse probareties on the devise manager, but the button wasn;t activated actualy, i enterd to the mouse properaties on the control pannel, it syas that this device is working probably, i don't know what's the problem is and how can i fix it so please help me
