Pen drive detection

Hello,
My Dad bought a new USB Port of four series and everything whatever we connect in the USB Port gets detected except my pendrive. My computer Hardware Expert asked me reinstall the chipset software which is already given in the motherboard CD. Still my pendrive is not getting Detected. Please give me solution or procedure to get my pendrive detected. It contains lot of Valuable information.

Hi there,

plug your pendrive directly to the usb port of the pc

that is only the main problem. When I connect my pendrive directly to the USB of my pc, it is not getting detected.
