Hello,
I am having trouble with my router's administrator password. I'm using a Belkin F5D7234-4. I just bought the router, logged into the router using a blank password. Then I changed the administrator password. When I log out and try to log back in it keeps telling me the password is invalid. I've hard reset the router and tried again about 10 times now. I don't know what it's changing my password to when I change it, but it's definitely not what I type in. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
Try accessing the router setup with a different browser. I had the exact same issue with te exact same router. I had been using Safari 4, then tried it with Firefox 3.5, and the issue was solved.
You need to soft reset it by going to http://192.168.2.1 after you soft reset it then it wil be the default password which is nothing just <blank> and you should be home free
